A Bun Dance continental breads
About us

A-Bun-Dance the Bakers is bringing fresh, delicious, hand-crafted continental bread to the Scottish Highlands. It is the brainchild of the master craft baker, Paul Kelly, and his partner, Elanor Gordon. Paul learnt his trade at the renowned, award-winning Barbakan Delicatessenin Manchester, over many years. The pair settled in Easter Ross in 2004. With them, they brought a wealth of knowledge and experience of producing a great range of continental breads. They thought it was high time for the good people of the Inverness and east Highland area to be able to taste and buy such a range of delicious breads.

We aim to find as many ways as possible to get our bread to you - the public - fresh, daily. We aim to provide the best service possible. We aim to always produce the best quality bread, using the best quality ingredients, at the best prices.  Our breads are made using traditional hand-crafting (artisan) skills and traditional baking methods, with original continental recipes. Our breads will all be suitable for vegetarians and mostly for vegans. We will try to keep our impact on the planet as low as possible, whilst still providing you with the best bread we can.

Our breads are baked fresh, daily, in our bakehouse, which is located in the fascinating Easter Ross town of Invergordon, with its years of history as a deep-water port. The picture below is one of its series of murals, painted to celebrate the town's rich heritage, as part of the 'off the wall' project.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
